1. Purpose
This Addendum supplements CrownThrive’s Master Terms by formalizing access controls, operational roles, legal boundaries, and system integration for the embedded CrownConsult widget. It ensures clarity for users engaging independent consultants on request.
2. Definitions
- Consultant: A vetted, independent contractor invited to join the CrownConsult network.
- Client / User: CrownThrive members or platform users requesting paid consulting services.
- Engagement: Any paid interaction via video, phone, chat, or email facilitated through CrownConsult.
- Referral Widget: An embedded interface placed on approved platform pages (e.g., Help Center, Collab Portal) where clients can request consultations.
3. Eligibility & Invitation
- Consultants join CrownConsult by invitation only; they must meet CrownThrive’s vetting criteria (expertise, compliance, experience, alignment with brand values).
- Consultant profiles (with roles, rates, availability) are managed via internal CrownThrive dashboard.
4. Engagement Process
- Clients request services via the embedded widget; they receive consultant profiles and scheduling options.
- All engagements are paid directly or processed via CrownThrive’s payment system.
- Consultants set their own rates and availability; CrownThrive acts purely as platform facilitation.
5. Consultant Obligations & Conduct
- Consultants must comply with CrownThrive’s Code of Ethics, privacy standards, and professional norms.
- Misconduct—including misrepresentation, cancellation failure, or inappropriate behavior—can lead to removal.
- Consultants are responsible for taxes, insurance, and compliance with local regulations.
6. Privacy & Data Handling
- Engagement metadata (e.g. scheduling, session notes) is logged and managed according to GDPR, CCPA, and CrownThrive privacy standards.
- Sensitive data exchanged between consultant and client remains confidential; CrownThrive stores only referral logs.

- All advice provided by consultants is “as-is”; CrownThrive is not liable for damages, legal risks, or professional mistakes.
- Clients and consultants indemnify CrownThrive from any claims arising from professional conduct or service outcomes.
8. Dispute Resolution & Cancellation
- Clients may request refunds or schedules changes per the consultant’s terms; CrownThrive may mediate disputes but is not accountable for outcomes.
