How Moderators Manage Privileges Across Tiers (For Internal Staff)

1. Role of Moderators

Moderators are the gatekeepers of the ThriveGather™ ecosystem. Their responsibilities include:

  • Enforcing membership privileges (room access, seating priority).
  • Supporting event flow across auditoriums and breakout rooms.
  • Ensuring sponsors receive white-glove delivery during their activations.

2. Privileges by Tier

Community Members

  • Access: Public Rooms only (Neutral Room, 24 seats; Celebration, 65 seats).
  • Tools: Chat + circle cams (if enabled).
  • Limitations: Cannot join Member, VIP, or Sponsored Rooms.

Pro Members

  • Access: Member Classrooms (38 seats), Pro Workshops (25 seats).
  • Tools: Mic, cam, screen share (when approved).
  • Privileges: Priority seating in regional clusters.

VIP/Legacy Members

  • Access: All rooms including VIP lounges (8 seats) and auditoriums (102+ seats).
  • Tools: Mic, cam, screen share, host spotlight.
  • Privileges: No waitlist limits, first entry into high-capacity auditoriums.

Sponsors

  • Access: Sponsored Booths (3–7 seats) and Sponsored Stages (120 seats).
  • Privileges: Branded assets, CTA embeds, analytics delivery.
  • Managed directly by CrownThrive staff.

3. Moderator Control Tools

Moderators have access to advanced controls inside GoBrunch-powered ThriveGather rooms:

  • Mic & Cam Permissions: Enable/disable for individuals or all attendees.
  • Screen Share Control: Approve/revoke screen shares.
  • Recording Toggle: Start/stop recordings based on event rules.
  • Breakout Management: Assign attendees, close rooms, and lock when full.
  • Waiting Lists: Admit based on tier priority.

4. Managing Event Flow

Step 1: Pre-Event

  • Confirm tier settings for each room.
  • Ensure sponsored branding and CTA links are functional.
  • Test mic/cam for hosts and VIP speakers.

Step 2: During Event

  • Admit attendees by tier: VIP → Pro → Community.
  • Monitor behavior, using the Bad Words Filter if needed.
  • Assign moderators to Sponsored Booths to ensure compliance.

Step 3: Post-Event

  • Save attendance and engagement data.
  • Deliver sponsor metrics and recordings.
  • Report technical or membership issues to CrownThrive Ops.

5. Use Cases

  • Education & Training: Moderators restrict Community access to Public Open Learning, reserving advanced labs for Pro members.
  • Networking & Community: VIP Investor Hall (Modern Auditorium, 102 seats) moderated with strict admission priority.
  • Blockchain/Web3: DAO workshops (Pro Rooms) restricted to verified Pro members.
  • Beauty & Wellness: Sponsors’ product booths monitored for brand compliance.

6. ThriveGather Advantage

Unlike basic webinar tools, ThriveGather gives moderators:

  • Tier-based control over 1M+ potential members globally.
  • Real-time flexibility to balance breakout room engagement.
  • Sponsor assurance through white-glove management.

Moderators are the backbone of maintaining order, fairness, and professionalism across the ThriveGather™ ecosystem.
