All candidates must submit a non-refundable nomination fee:
- Board-level seats: $50 USD
- Committee Chair/Vice Chair seats: $35 USD
- Advisory & Appointee roles (if open for public election): $20 USD
Fee Waivers: May be granted to qualifying low-income or student members upon documented request and review by the Election Finance Panel.
All payments are processed securely through the ThriveAlumni dashboard and verified via CHLOM™ audit logs.
3. Manifesto Guidelines
Each candidate must submit a manifesto that includes:
- Full legal name and member ID
- Position sought and reason for candidacy
- Past contributions, relevant qualifications, or vision statement
- Any endorsements (optional but must be verified)
Word Limit: 500–1,000 words File Format: PDF or Markdown (.md) Submission Deadline: Final day of nomination period
Incomplete manifestos or those with unsubstantiated claims will be rejected or flagged for revision.
4. Election Symbol Usage
Each candidate is allowed one custom election symbol per campaign:
- Must be submitted during nomination window
- May not mimic the CrownThrive, ThriveAlumni, or CHLOM official logos
- Offensive or misleading imagery will be rejected automatically
- Approved symbols are watermark-protected and stored in the CHLOM™ Governance Asset Library
Once approved, the candidate’s symbol will appear next to their name on the public campaign board and official ballot UI.
5. Violations & Penalties
Violations of this policy will result in:
- Symbol abuse or duplication: 1 warning → then disqualification
- Failure to pay nomination fee: Ineligibility for that cycle
- Manifesto fraud (plagiarism, impersonation): Immediate ban from 2 cycles
All offenses and decisions are recorded on CHLOM™ for legal and historical reference.
