Effective Date: July 30, 2025 Applies To: All CrownThrive platforms, vendors, affiliates, mentors, creators, ambassadors, and consumers.
1. Payment Processing Overview
CrownThrive utilizes Stripe, PayPal, crypto payment gateways, and other PCI-compliant third-party processors for handling secure payments. All transaction data is encrypted and stored according to current compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA).
2. Accepted Payment Methods
Accepted forms of payment include:
- Major debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover)
- PayPal and Apple Pay
- CrownThrive-issued platform credits or promo codes
- Cryptocurrency (ETH, USDC, select coins on supported platforms)
- ACH and bank transfers (case-by-case, typically for institutional partnerships)
3. Refund Policy & Timelines
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original transaction unless otherwise specified.
Refunds are granted under the following conditions:
- Duplicate charges
- Failed platform access due to verified technical error
- Overpayment verified by our team
- Non-delivery of a physical product within 30 business days (with tracking review)
Non-refundable items include:
- Downloaded digital goods
- Membership fees (unless cancelled during a valid trial window)
- Consulting services already rendered
- Custom-created assets (e.g., flipbooks, AI chatbots, design commissions)
- Donations or ThriveFund contributions
Refund processing may take 3–10 business days depending on payment method.
4. Failed or Rejected Transactions
Transactions may fail due to:
- Insufficient funds
- Invalid payment details
- Expired payment authorization
- Processor-side security flags
If a recurring or required payment fails:
- A system notice is sent to the account holder
- The transaction may be retried up to 3 times within a 5-day window
- After 3 failures, the account may be temporarily suspended or downgraded
- Restoration requires successful payment of past-due balance
A $15 reprocessing fee may apply in some cases of returned ACH or chargeback reversal.
5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
We take chargebacks seriously. Filing a chargeback without first contacting our support team may result in:
- Immediate platform account suspension
- Loss of affiliate or instructor status
- Revocation of rewards, earnings, or licensing
We strongly encourage contacting [email protected] before escalating to your payment provider. Most issues are resolved within 48 hours.
6. Platform-Specific Notes
Some platforms (e.g., ThriveSeat, ThrivePush, NeuralCraft) may include usage-based billing or subscription tiers. It is your responsibility to manage plan changes, cancellations, and account status to avoid continued charges.
Subscriptions canceled after a billing cycle begins are typically non-refundable, but may be prorated on a case-by-case basis if usage is minimal.
7. Integration with Affiliate Earnings & Rewards
Refunds on referred transactions will void associated commissions. If rewards or bonuses have already been redeemed, your affiliate account may be debited or paused until the balance is settled.
