Payments, Refunds, and Financial Integrity Policy

Effective Date: July 30, 2025 Applies To: All monetary transactions on CrownThrive platforms including ThriveSeat, ThriveFund, ThriveAlumni Memberships, CrownRewards, CrownAffiliates, NeuralCraft, Melanin Magic, and partner marketplaces.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

All platforms accept:

  • Major credit/debit cards
  • Secure ACH transfers (where supported)
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Crypto payments (where applicable)
  • Buy Now, Pay Later services via approved providers

Payments are processed via secure PCI-compliant gateways such as Stripe, Venly (Web3), and other verified partners.

2. Subscription & Membership Billing

Subscriptions, memberships, and ongoing services are billed monthly, quarterly, or annually depending on plan selection. Renewal is automatic unless the user cancels via their dashboard or by written request at least 48 hours before renewal.

Late or failed payments may result in:

  • Grace period suspension (typically 3–5 days)
  • Service access limitations
  • Removal from active listings, votes, or member roles

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  • Technical issues preventing service access (verified and unresolved within 7 days)
  • Double billing or duplicate charges
  • Mistaken purchases reported within 72 hours
  • Course or event cancellations by the host or platform

The following are non-refundable unless explicitly stated:

  • Nomination fees
  • Digital downloads or AI tokens
  • Custom artwork or print-on-demand products
  • Donations, grant payments, and ThriveFund submissions
  • Payments made to third-party partners or vendors outside CrownThrive’s control

4. Disputes & Chargebacks

Members are required to contact support to resolve billing issues before filing a chargeback. Filing false or malicious disputes will result in:

  • Immediate service termination
  • Permanent suspension from CrownThrive platforms
  • Reporting to appropriate legal or banking authorities

All chargebacks are subject to a $35 admin fee if the dispute is lost or withdrawn.

5. Crowdfunding, Campaigns & ThriveFund

All ThriveFund donations, campaign purchases, or investment pledges are:

  • Considered final and non-refundable
  • Governed by ThriveFund’s policies and terms
  • Subject to milestone-based release, review, and approval

Creators found misusing campaign funds may be banned from future use and referred for legal action.

6. Payment Transparency & Receipts

All users have access to a complete transaction log via their platform dashboard. Receipts are automatically emailed and archived. Any corrections must be requested within 30 days of transaction.

7. Donations & Social Impact Contributions

CrownThrive reserves the right to allocate a portion of each transaction (up to 5%) to:

  • Climate offset via Stripe Climate
  • Tree planting and ocean cleanup via EcoDrive
  • Community reinvestment via CrownThrive Impact programs

These deductions are built into platform pricing and are disclosed during checkout or onboarding.
