1. Purpose
To protect the CrownThrive ecosystem from impersonation, fraud, and payout-related abuse by giving instructors and affiliates the option to verify their identity and platform presenceâespecially when handling funds, commissions, and public-facing roles.
2. Scope
This SOP applies to:
- Instructors on CrownThriveU
- Affiliate partners on Crown Affiliates
- Course co-creators, payout recipients, and listed speakers
- CrownThriveâs internal review of:
- Disputes
- Payout routing
- Legal verification during platform audits or investigations
3. When Verification is Recommended

4. Accepted Verification Documents
- Government-issued ID (driverâs license, passport)
- Business EIN and matching PayPal/Stripe details
- Video selfie (optional but accepted)
- Social media page + business website link (for brand confirmation)
All documents are:
- Submitted via secure upload link
- Encrypted and retained for up to 3 years (or upon request deletion)
5. Verification Process
5.1 Submission
- Instructor or affiliate accesses Verify My Identity page via dashboard
- Uploads required documents and/or links
- Acknowledges CrownThriveâs verification and privacy policies
5.2 Review
- Legal Ops or Affiliate Admin reviews submission within 72 hours
- Checks for:
- Name consistency across documents
- Photo clarity and legibility
- Matching payout details if relevant
5.3 Status Notification
- If approved: Badge added (e.g., â Verified Instructor or Trusted Affiliate)
- If rejected: Reason provided + re-submission option
- All actions logged in internal verification tracker
