1. Why Seat Limits Exist
ThriveGather uses GoBrunch’s room infrastructure, which defines maximum seats based on room type:
- Regional Auditoriums: 602 seats
- Public Clusters: 24–65 seats
- Member Classrooms: 38 seats
- VIP Lounges: 8 seats
- Sponsored Booths: 3–7 seats
Seat limits ensure stability and fair distribution across tiers.
2. Common Capacity Problems & Fixes
a) “Room Full” Message
- The event has reached maximum seat capacity.
- Try another breakout room if offered.
- VIP or Pro members may have access to reserved seating clusters.
b) Public Room Overflow
- Public spaces (Neutral Room, Cabaret, etc.) fill quickly.
- Solution: Upgrade to Pro or VIP membership for access to larger rooms or reserved seating.
c) Reserved Seating Restrictions
- VIP lounges (8 seats) and Sponsored booths (3–7 seats) are restricted.
- Access only available if your membership tier includes these privileges.
3. Membership-Based Access
- Community Members → Public Clusters only.
- Pro Members → Member Classrooms, mid-size breakouts.
- VIP Members → Priority access to auditoriums, VIP lounges, global auditoriums.
- Sponsors → Exclusive access to their branded rooms and analytics.
4. Event Organizer Controls
- Hosts can cap seats lower than room max to preserve exclusivity.
- Waitlists can be enabled for high-demand events.
- Organizers may reroute attendees into overflow auditoriums.
5. Tips to Avoid Capacity Issues
- Log in early — especially for high-demand events.
- Upgrade membership if you frequently hit seat limits.
- Use direct auditorium links for regional access.
- For global launches, check alternate time zones (e.g., EU session vs. NA session).
6. Contact Support
If you were denied access despite your membership tier:
- Verify event details with the host.
- Contact ThriveGather Support with the event name, room link, and your membership level.
7. ThriveGather Advantage
Seat limits encourage members to upgrade for better access and help event organizers maintain premium experiences. With proactive planning, every member can find a seat — whether in public clusters, regional auditoriums, or VIP lounges.
