1. Purpose
This policy ensures that all individuals nominated or self-nominated for governance roles within the CrownThrive ecosystem are vetted for integrity, competence, and alignment with the ecosystem’s mission and ethical standards.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for nomination, candidates must:
Be an active member of the relevant platform for at least 6 months, unless waived by Founders or Governance Committee
Have no prior disqualifying ethics violations within CrownThrive or affiliated platforms
Have completed the Nominee Orientation & Ethics Agreement
Not currently hold more than two active governance seats, excluding advisory roles
Possess a profile with an up-to-date biography and contribution record
3. Nomination Submission Requirements
Candidates must submit:
A Manifesto outlining qualifications, priorities, and platform goals
Proof of experience or alignment in areas related to the seat or committee
A Conflict of Interest Disclosure
A Nomination Fee, if applicable, as determined by the Nomination Committee
At least one Peer Endorsement (or platform verification)
Submissions will be reviewed within 7–10 business days by the Vetting Committee.
4. Vetting Process
The Vetting Committee will:
Review all documentation and background information
Conduct platform engagement audits and disciplinary record checks
Interview or question candidates if any concerns are flagged
Submit a recommendation (Approve, Approve with Conditions, or Reject)
Appeals may be made to the Judicial Review Subcommittee within 5 days of rejection.
5. Disqualification & Conflict Grounds
Automatic disqualification occurs if:
False information is submitted in the nomination process
The candidate has been removed from a prior position within the last 12 months
Verified legal or ethical concerns arise during vetting
The individual is currently suspended from any CrownThrive platform
There is an active conflict of interest involving business, legal, or governance interests that would impair neutrality
6. Confidentiality & Data Protection
All candidate documents are handled in accordance with CrownThrive’s Data Integrity & Platform Privacy Policy. Vetting Committee members must sign confidentiality agreements and may not discuss candidate evaluations outside official review.
7. Emergency Nominations
In the event of committee collapse, leadership resignation, or investigation, the Founders or Emergency Governance Committee may bypass traditional nomination procedures and appoint interim roles. These must be publicly disclosed within 14 days of appointment.
8. Policy Oversight & Enforcement
This policy is maintained by the Nomination Committee and audited annually by the Governance & Compliance Office. Platform members may report violations of this policy through the ThriveAlumni incident portal.
