Platform Access, Account Termination & Suspension Rules

Effective Date: July 30, 2025 Applies To: All CrownThrive platforms and affiliated systems, including ThriveAlumni, ThriveSeat, CrownThriveU, CrownAffiliates, NeuralCraft, and other internal tools or portals.

1. Right to Access

All platform access is a conditional privilege — not a guaranteed right — and is subject to:

  • Membership tier
  • Verification status
  • Compliance with Terms of Service and applicable policies
  • Role or designation-based permissions (e.g., committee member, instructor, investor)

Founders and the appointed Governance or Compliance Committee reserve the right to deny access to any individual whose conduct violates CrownThrive values or policies.

2. Grounds for Suspension

Accounts may be temporarily suspended (with or without warning) for:

  • Hate speech, harassment, or threats
  • Attempting unauthorized access or impersonation
  • Spamming, scamming, or defrauding other users
  • Failing to comply with compensation agreements or grant terms
  • Posting illegal, plagiarized, or harmful content
  • Breaching committee confidentiality or board-level NDAs

Suspensions are typically 3, 7, or 30 days depending on severity, and may include limited or read-only access.

3. Grounds for Termination

Accounts may be permanently terminated if:

  • The user has repeatedly violated platform terms despite warnings
  • The conduct undermines platform safety, election fairness, or public trust
  • The user is found guilty of fraud, identity theft, or legal violations
  • A vote by the Founders, Board, or Judicial Committee deems termination necessary for community well-being

All terminations include account data lockout and revocation of affiliate, ambassador, or leadership access.

4. Appeal & Reinstatement

Members have the right to request an appeal review by the Governance or Compliance Committee. Appeals must be submitted via the Help Center within 14 days of suspension or termination.

Appeals must include:

  • Reason for appeal
  • Evidence of correction, reformation, or context
  • Any acknowledgments of misconduct (if applicable)

Appeals are typically resolved within 21 business days.

5. Restoration After Termination

In rare cases, terminated users may be reinstated if:

  • A majority of the Board and Founders approve
  • A formal restoration proposal is submitted and accepted
  • A waiting period of no less than 6 months has passed
  • The user signs a platform behavior contract and may be restricted to limited access for 90 days

6. Account Access During Investigation

If a user is under formal investigation by a committee, the following may apply:

  • Temporary access revocation to voting or administrative features
  • Read-only access granted for limited periods
  • An internal ethics hearing must occur within 15 days of the suspension

7. Final Authority

All decisions made by the Founders in collaboration with the Board or relevant Committee Chairs are final and binding. Automated systems (such as smart contracts, AI moderation tools, or CHLOM ledger entries) may also trigger account flags, suspensions, or reviews.
