1. Purpose

To enforce a legally defensible and compliant policy framework across all CrownThrive entities—protecting the company, educating users, and ensuring regulatory adherence.

2. Scope

This SOP applies to:

  • All new platform or brand launches under CrownThrive
  • Any relaunch, major feature update, or redesign that changes data handling
  • Web3, AI, affiliate, or educational tools collecting user data or issuing payments

4. Process Steps

4.1 Step 1: Template Selection

  • Use official CrownThrive legal templates:
    • Terms of Use
    • Privacy Policy (CCPA/GDPR-compliant)
    • Affiliate Disclosure (if monetized)
    • Earnings/Results Disclaimer (if financial/educational)
    • Community Guidelines (if UGC involved)
  • CLO modifies base documents based on platform functionality

4.2 Step 2: Platform-Specific Edits

  • Insert brand/platform name throughout
  • Define what user data is collected
  • Add automation/AI usage disclosures (where applicable)
  • Sync refund policy with Financial SOPs

4.3 Step 3: Internal Approval

  • Legal team reviews for:
    • FTC compliance (ads, testimonials, earnings claims)
    • GDPR/CCPA/DMCA coverage
    • AI + Web3 risk flags
  • Final sign-off by CLO or delegated legal officer

4.4 Step 4: Frontend Placement

  • Add policy links to:
    • Footer
    • Login/Register page
    • Checkout screens (if applicable)
  • Ensure legal documents are visible without login

4.5 Step 5: Legal Depot Sync

  • Platform added to Section 4.26 of the CrownThrive Legal Depot
  • Version history included
  • Archive snapshot stored in Notion + Legal Drive

4.6 Step 6: Public Confirmation

  • Legal Depot Help Center post created for transparency
  • Notify platform users (if existing) via email or dashboard alert
  • Add to Change Log (required for audit purposes)
