1. Purpose

To define a standardized, defensible, and scalable approach to creating, managing, and deploying all branding materials across CrownThrive’s ecosystem, ensuring alignment with legal standards, ADA accessibility, and public trust.

2. Scope

This SOP applies to:

  • Logos, taglines, wordmarks, and lockups
  • Typography and font families
  • Color palettes (primary, secondary, tertiary)
  • Brand illustrations, icons, and mascots (e.g., Geo the Teddy)
  • Brand decks, media kits, press kits
  • Visuals used in ads, landing pages, and packaging

4. Process Steps

4.1 Step 1: Brand Asset Creation

  • Design team develops:
    • Primary & secondary logo formats (.svg, .png, .jpg, .webp)
    • Color codes in HEX, RGB, CMYK
    • Font usage and weights
    • Iconography library
  • File structure created in secure cloud directory (Google Drive / Notion / Figma)

4.2 Step 2: Internal Review

  • Submit to Brand Director + CLO for sign-off
  • CLO checks for:
    • Trademark conflicts
    • Offensive cultural missteps
    • Accessibility color contrast (ADA standards)
  • Design locked after version approval

4.3 Step 3: Distribution & Use

  • Upload assets to:
    • Collab Portal
    • Partner onboarding kits
    • Design system (Figma or Adobe CC)
  • Include guidelines:
    • Logo clear space
    • Improper usage examples
    • Icon stacking rules

4.4 Step 4: Trademark Filing (if applicable)

  • CLO initiates:
    • USPTO filing (or WIPO if international use planned)
    • Copyright claims for mascot illustrations or branded icons
  • Store registration docs in legal archive

4.5 Step 5: Partner & Public Usage Controls

  • If brand will be used by:
    • Influencers
    • Ambassadors
    • Resellers
  • Legal sends Brand Usage Terms + NDA
  • Approval required for:
    • Co-branded merch
    • External pitch decks
    • Public-facing partnerships

4.6 Step 6: Update Branding Across Ecosystem

  • Sync updates to:
    • ThriveSeat profiles
    • CrownThriveU instructor listings
    • Affiliate dashboards
    • Platform footers and headers
